Jay-Z has officially left Def Jam Recordings, his label home of over a decade, RapRadar.com reports. The rapper signed a lucrative new deal for future albums and tours with concert promoter Live Nation last spring, but he still owed Def Jam a final album under his contract. He has now bought out that contractual option, presumably freeing him to release his anticipated album The Blueprint 3 later this year via Roc Nation, his Live Nation imprint.
