Scribes Douglas Cook and David Weisberg (The Rock, Double Jeopardy) have signed on to write Nick Ratchet, based on an idea from Marvel comic mastermind Stan Lee, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The project will be a mystery thriller about a mild-mannered police officer whose tough online alter-ego, Nick Ratchet, steps out of a video game to take over his creator’s life. Richard LaGravenese (P.S. I Love You) is attached to direct.
