Martin Luther King Jr. will get the biopic treatment from Steven Spielberg’s DreamWorks, Variety reports. The civil rights leader, assassinated in 1968 at 39, copyrighted his speeches and books; this project will be the first film authorized by his estate to create a definitive scripted portrait of his life.

If he were alive today, King would be ASHAMED of what Black People have materialized into. Those historical incidents where King was beaten, savagely waterhosed, recieved several bricks upside his head, and jailed was ALL FOR NOTHING. Black on Black homicide is on the rise, Black men are not taking care of their children, little black boys think it’s cool to go to prison/jail, and please don’t get me started on the whole Rap/Thug Life thing. Now of course I could go on and on about the ills of Black people, so I think i’ll STOP!!! If King were alive today, after watching BET & TVOne he would probably be ASHAMED to be Black, nuff said!!!!!!!!!!
