Dreamworks is about to add a remake of Fright Night to its slate, says The Hollywood Reporter. The 1985 film, written and directed by Child’s Play helmer Tom Holland, was a horror comedy about a movie-loving teen who realizes that his neighbors are vampires. Dreamworks plans to take advantage of advanced special effects while retaining the scary-funny tone of the original.
