Sarah Palin is writing a tell-all. Or at least a tell-some. The Associate Press reports that the Alaskan governor and former vice presidential candidate has signed a deal with Harper Colins to pen a memoir for publication in the spring of 2010 (which happens to be when she runs for relection in Alaska). Palin tells the AP: "Being a voracious reader, I read a lot today and have read a lotgrowing up. And having that journalism degree, all of that, will be agreat assistance for me in writing this book, talking about thechallenges and the joys, balancing the work and parenting, and, in mycase, work means running the state."

If she earned a degree in journalism, shouldn’t Sarah Palin be able to arrange a sentence better than that run-on mess?
Some editor is going to earn his/her salary turning that book into readable sentences.
Work means running the state?? HAHAHAHA
Quit embarrassing Alaskans Sarah
Fantastic news. I hope she calls it, AUDACITY TO POINT OUT WE’RE NOT A SOCIALIST COUNTRY.
I hope her editor doesn’t mind drafts in crayon. OTOH, it will be easy editing – there won’t be many words with more than five letters.
I asked Palin about this book deal on twitter but she didn’t response back

Palin is a fabulous Govenor. She would have been great for the country as VP. Too bad the media finds it easier to destory someone than publish the truth.
Only problem she has, is the nation knows to much about her and her private life. Which is no one’s business. Too bad ya’ll have nothing to do except attack. What goes around comes around.
“Being a voracious reader?” Yeah Sarah, we saw how you responded when asked point blank what you read. You couldn’t even think of one periodical to make up.
Having seen what happens when Sarah isn’t working from someone else’s script, there’s no way she has the intelligence to pull off writing her memoirs herself. And why would anyone so unaccomplished need “memoirs” anyway?
Just how much she writes and how much is ghostwritten, or edited by someone else, will be clear. Key Palin words and pet cliche Palin phrases, such as “back in the day” and using “progress” as a transitive verb, will be a dead giveaway.
I’m betting there won’t be many.
Is this really going to be that interesting? Palin doesn’t seem to be that complex of a character and until last year she didn’t really have much to her name. How many governors in the US are really well known enough to sell a memoir? It just doesn’t seem that there will be much for her to say. Is it going to be a parenting book?? About her family? Her college life? She just seems to be quite typical to warrant a memoir.
I certainly plan to buy several copies! They will come in handy if I run out of Charmin.
What a waste of paper.
What could this vapid, uneducated woman possibly have to say that would be interesting to anyone outside of ultra-conservative nutjobs? This woman has been nothing but a huge media embarrassment. Every day I’m so thankful that people were smart enough to vote Obama into the White House rather than this cartoon character.
Sooooo many jokes I could do here, but I’ll take the high road.
I’m sure her people will write a terrific book for her image
