Kate Gosselin, star of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8, tells People that she and her husband have been struggling for months. Jon has been romantically linked to 23-year-old Deanna Hummel.
"I don’t know that we’re in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing," Kate told the magazine. "I’ve been struggling with the question of ‘Who is this person?’ for a while."
The couple has eight children — sextuplets and twins — between the ages of five and nine. Their reality show returns with new episodes on May 25.

I have lived the nightmare of infidelity. It is an unforgiving hurt, that I fought with a vigor. HOwever, I was victimized by my peers, family everyone who new and believed that I did too. Take a step back, breath, and talk. If he won’t talk, if he doesn’t want to problem solve, you can only move on. I tried everything, even getting even with a society of woman who have no scrupples. We as woman, should stick together, protect one another, but instead we stab one another in the back. People are afraid to warn you, to help you. It is hell. It gets easier. Love yourself, love your children, always be the one who is there, who does not leave, who does not bring another “man” into the home until they are grown. You will not regret it. I have never. I made a lot of mistakes but not that one, and that one paid off. I have successful, loving, giving, wonderful adult children, about your age. I contribute this to “being there”. I am a nana, a mom, a best friend to my x.

I agree with Lorie! She had made a point to handle this as privately as possible. Now, by speaking to People magazine, it just feels like she’s angling for the public attention. Disappointing.

cancel the show, they’ll have their privacy…but i can see her wanting to do a new show..’kate struggles with 8 kids and being single’ and TLC would be dumb enough to film it…come on $50,000 per episode when Americans are in the biggest struggle in our nation’s history…how could you pay these people all these money?? get a clue..their fame comes from something we all do, except most of us do not resort to drugs to have many kids..
It’s a shame that she has become greedy and selfish. Jon said right as season 4 was ending, that he did not want to do another season. He did not like how everyone knows who he is, he doesn’t like the paparazzi, and he was uncomfortable with people approaching him at the food store, etc. He also didn’t like being known as “that guy from that show on tv.” She did this to them. He wanted out and she wanted the $

This woman is shameless. If she actually gave a s**t about her marriage or family she would have pulled the plug when it became obvious how bad it was for them. She is a money grubbing fame whore and now the chickens are coming home to roost. Nothing in this world is free, and that goes for your McMansion, your tummy tuck and your book deals.
I a flabbergasted by the number of people who think it’s okay to cheat on your spouse, as long as they “deserve” it.
The problem isn’t with Jon & Kate. It’s with the disgusting mentality of it’s viewers. Eww.
I could tell they were having problems by their body language on the show. Take a good look at the reruns… see how they never sit close to one another while on the couch during interviews. I never saw them engage in true romantic moments and the looks towards one another sometimes were of disgust. This has been going on for some time, but they were stuck in a contract and needed to put up a show. Just another example of how reality tv is taking it’s toll on real relationships. Maybe it’s time we all go back to focussing on our own lives a bit… ya think?

This is case of being overwhelmed with the responsibility of children, resulting in irresponsibility.
They can’t remove themselves from being on the series, since they have become so financially dependent upon it. They are stuck and their lives are forever ruined.
Seriosly everyone needs to get a grip. No matter if she is greedy or not. No matter if she put her family in the spot light or not. It stil does not CONDONE CHEATING. if he did infact cheat. Leave the poor girl alone and get a life.
Infidelity is not excusable. Period.
Jon wanted the show to end, she didn’t. If family is truly what matters the most, it’s time to stop the show, stop the book tours, and focus on the toughest jobs they’ll ever have – being parents and their marriage.
I hope and pray the children’s needs will win over the wants of the adults.
