American Gladiators is jumping from TV to the silver screen, Variety reports. Creator Johnny Ferraro is developing a live-action adaptation of his television phenomenon — which started in 1988 and has been on the air every year except one ever since. It recently made a high-profile comeback in primetime on NBC last year.
