Fresh off her Celebrity Apprentice win, Joan Rivers will be participating in another TV program: TV Land’s How’d You Get So Rich? The 30-minute, six-episode series, which premieres Aug. 12, follows Rivers as she explores the homes belonging to millionaires like the inventor of BillyBob Teeth and the Obama coin peddler. Larry W. Jones, TV Land’s president, says the following in a press release: "There is no one more outrageous and hilarious than Joan Rivers to introduce America to multimillionaires who prove that there is no such thing as small ideas! How’d You Get So Rich? is the perfect escapist fantasy and in these tough times – an inspiration. The guy who made a 5 chamber bubble wand is worth $50 million. Why didn’t I think of that!”

J & M Rivers, “champions” for business and for people? How absurd is that. Pond scum.
“escapist fantasy in these tough times.” But it’s not fantasy. These are real people. I think this kind of stuff is depressing and infuriating when half your friends are out of work and your own 401k has been knifed in half.

This is why I got rid of cable. I used to be a big TVLand fan, but ever since they starting showing “reality” crap like this, they’ve gone completely downhill. TVLand is just garbage now. Thanks, Larry Jones, for ruining what was once a good cable channel.
After seeing what a disingenuous elitist Joan Rivers is, I will never watch another show that remotely associates to her.
This woman is as volatile (emotionally) and vitriolic as they come.
Sounds like an interesting show. But with Joan Rivers on it I won’t be watching it or any thing else she is a part of.
I thought they drew the show out too long. Great for Joan! She did a fantastic job and deserved to be the winner!!
What a horrible woman. I will NEVER watch her on any TV show again. The network and sponsors need to reconsider.
NOT JOAN RIVERS!? What a “whore pit viper”. She’s so grating, and her fake tears and scratchy voice are worse than fingernails down a chalkboard. The only thing more annoying is her daughter Melissa’s tendency to follow her mother like she’s six years old, and smile so hard that her chin buries down into her quadruple necks until you think her teeth are going to break out of her jaws. MUCH BETTER TV WATCHING: the many business shows on CNBC, or the shows about food businesses on TLC or the Food Channel. Even Bloomberg or the FOX business channel. Anything but this trash.
I never miss Joan Rivers in what ever she does . Her jewelty is beautiful , she’s a great comedian . Her outlook on life is great. I was so glad she won
I will throw my tv out the window before i watch that trashy plastic witch, i wanted to throw up everytime she opened her whiny LOUD voice on the celebrity thing, I hope that Annie has her blacklisted at any Vegas gig she may get from now on
Hooray for Joan!! So happy she beat that conniving mean old hag Annie Duke. Annie couldn’t try to be manipulative with Joan like she was with everybody else on that show. Did you happen to notice all of the other celebrities believed that Joan should be hired, when they were asked? Good for you , Joan!! You are God’s gift to this world!!!
TVLand thinks there’s no one more outrageous than this boorish 75 year-old??? Get a clue TVLand (and hire some hipper execs). Oh, and get an office ready for Melissa too!
Google BRIANNE TRUMP!!!!! This was a fix. The Donald’s sis in law is heavily involved with Joan’s charity. Annie kicked A## the whole season. Her charity is owed $250,000. Ante up Donald!!!
