Actress-comedian Aisha Tyler, who most recently starred in Bedtime Stories, will headline her own talk show, The Aisha Tyler Show, for ABC. The pilot, which is being described as a cross between daytime and late-night talk shows, will include comedic political commentary, produced segments, and an Internet-related aspect (viewers will be able to talk to Tyler through sites like Facebook and Twitter). ABC sources are hoping that that Tyler will make it to syndication or cable.

you go girl!!!
I quite liked it when she was replacing the sick Roger Ebert and doing the film reviews with Richard Roeper. She did very well. He should have picked her as the permanent replacement. Maybe the show wouldn’t have gone under.
Good luck Aisha!
I would like to have sexytime with her.
I can’t believe Ryan said that about “At the Movies”! She was the most thoughtful and articulate guest on that show and I was hoping she would do it permanently. I don’t go for talk shows, but I’d definitely watch hers. She is a rare intelligent commodity in vast sea of dumb shows.
she is one actress i would actually like to see have a talk show. she is smart, funny and beautiful. (three things tyra banks lacks)i hope she makes it to syndication too!
Congrats I hope that it gets picked up. She’s very smart, funny and deserves the exposure.
Shout out to Aisha, fellow Dartmouth grad. I loved her in the 90s when she used to host “Talk Soup” on E. She somehow combines beauty with razor sharp wit, and unlike some comediennes, doesn’t feel the need to do “gross out” to show how funny she can be. Also, remember her 4th season turn on 24! Girl, did work those pantsuits as yet another mole
She’s boring, has little talent (except what she pays writers), and even less comedic value. (vomit)
Lakeesha, r u crazy?? Aisha is beautiful, smart, has great comedic timing and is likable. Oh yeah, and hot. Nothing wrong with that!! I’ll give her show a shot when it comes out.
I’d toss her salad….but watch her show? nah.
