ABC has given an early thumbs-up to Modern Family, a new comedy from Back to You executive producers Christopher Lloyd and Steve Levitan, Variety is reporting. The network has ordered 13 episodes of the sitcom, which follows three families through a movie maker’s eyes. The show stars Ed O’Neill (John from Cincinnati) and Julie Bowen (Boston Legal) and will debut this fall.
