Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday, May 11. The episode, titled "The World’s Got Talent," will feature an interview with Boyle along with a guided tour of her Blackburn, Scotland home. Simon Cowell will also appear, as will stars from China, Germany, and Afghanistan.

Good for her. Her appearence on Britians got talent really was a great piece of Television. The way the producers cut the video pumping up the music was top notch. It was like watching Rocky in 7 minutes.

Meh. Leave it to oprah to exploit the latest talked-about subject so she can hog the spotlight. I’m surprised she hasn’t claimed credit for inventing the wheel, the airplane, nuclear energy, the personal computer, the internet, World of Warcraft, American Idol, and iPods. Not to mention getting Obama into the White House. What a tool.
Well, she’s a couple of weeks late bringing us Susan but – hey! Too bad the lady doesn’t have a CD out yet. With Oprah’s blessing, everyone sells.
I’m sure that Oprah Winfrey can’t wait to meet Susan Boyle and talk about how her Britain’s Got Talent performance moved her to tears and such. And Susan doesn’t even have a new album to promote or plug–it’s only on one performance.
You know in my town not only can homely people sing they also can read, shop for groceries, hold jobs and in some cases we even allow them to marry and have children. Just sayin.
