That ’70s Show‘s Wilmer Valderrama and The Class‘ Jason Ritter have been added to the cast of the indie film The Dry Land, the story of a youngsoldier (Ryan O’Nan) who returns to his small town after active duty. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Valderrama will play the soldier’s Army buddy, while Ritter will play a pal who kept an eye on the soldier’s wife (Ugly Betty‘s America Ferrera) while he was away. Melissa Leo costars as the soldier’s mother. The film, previously titled American Tragic, is the feature directorial debut of Ferrera’s beau, Ryan Piers William, who also wrote the script. It shoots in New Mexico and Texas.
