Fox has ordered a 13-episode second season of Family Guy spin-off Cleveland, according to the Hollywood Reporter. This brings the total number of episodes ordered for the animated series up to 35. The first season of Cleveland is scheduled to air this fall, followed by the second season in fall 2010.

I still don’t understand this? Cleveland by far is the least interesting character on that show, how are they basing a whole show on him.
Nobody ever agrees with me, but Seth McFarlane(sp) is a HACK! Family Guy hasn’t been funny since they brought it back and American Dad was NEVER funny.
FOX sucks! Cancels Futurama (a good show) and gives endless time to McFarlane, who can’t even write a decent show w/o using Non Sequitur. LAME!!

FOX sure has alot of confidence in this show. Not sure how well it will do, Cleveland isn’t exactly a fan favourite. Quagmire on the other hand…Giggity!

to ronnie, any show can be that funny if they have no boundaries, rules, or developed characters. Just bad, overly-jokey writing, plain and simple.

Let me get this straight. They give this show a 2nd season before the first season even AIRS, but they will probably cancel Terminator and Dollhouse? Nice job FOX!
One of the funniest things Family Guy has ever done was list all the shows that were canceled in between its two runs….unfortunately, 95% of the shows listed were BETTER than Family Guy. Seriously! The Tick gets canceled but Family Guy manages to go on and on and on…..
Set MacFarlane is overrated and overpaid! Do I enjoy watching Family Guy periodically and does it make me laugh? Yes. It makes me laugh a lot less knowing that he got a 100 million dollar deal from Fox, especially at a time when his shows are running on fumes. Oh, and American Dad was never funny. Not looking forward to The Cleveland Show either.

I was thinking the same thing. Fox makes this but cancels shows with actual wrtiing like Terminator. Dumber and cheaper, the future and present of TV.
