Kara DioGuardi, American Idol‘s controversial fourth judge, doesn’t know whether she’ll be returning to the show next season. "I’m only here for one season," she tells TV Guide Magazine. "That’s what we’ve discussed. So we’ll see what happens.Hopefully they’ll keep me on." Fellow judge Simon Cowell seemed equally unsure of DioGuardi’s fate, telling TV Guide Magazine, "I would imagine[she will be back], but the only say I have is about Ryan, Randy and Paula. I’ve alwaysmade it clear that I wouldn’t like to do the show without them. Sothat’s all I’m really concerned about."

I actually really like Kara and I would love to see her back next season. I would get rid of Randy instead.
I am more than OK if she doesn’t come back. Save for this past weeks’ spot-on critiques of Allison and Kris, she has been nothing but a broken record who adds only frustration to the show. I think they should bring a new fourth judge, that America can vote for… and is it just me, or is Tarantino our best option?
Bye bye Kara…we’ll miss you.

She really needs to go back to where she came from…… she does NOT have her OWN ideas— IF you watch her …. you will see that whatever the first person has to say …. then that is JUST what she has to say—hmmmmmmmmm Paula STAY and this lady get off the show. Why four ?
Nothing against her, we just don’t need another judge to take away even more from the contestants. I would get rid of that new producer too. Now next week they are still not singing 2 songs, but duets? Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

GET RID OF PAULA NOT KARA. AT LEAST WE UNDERSTAND WHAT KARA IS SAYING (YES AT TIMES SHES NERVOUS BUT ITS HER FIRST SEASON) SAME CANNOT BE SAID FOR PAULA, IT SEEMS LIKE SHE IS HEAVILY MEDICATED ALL THE TIME, AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SHE IS SAYING AND EITHER DO THE JUDGES

Keep Paula – you need an always “nice” judge. Paula is having a good season, Randy I think is having a bad year. Kara didn’t really add anything to the show except running into over time.
I can’t stand Kara. She has proven she’s just as ditzy as Paula. Paula, on the other hand, has very encouraging statements to the contestants.
They do not need a 4th judge, never did.
The 4th judge has been a disaster. Takes too long, shows run over, to much talking. Kara is a waste and the more I see her, the less I like her. She is boring and has brought nothing new to the table. Go back to the original 3, and shorten up that dreadful results show. Make it 30 minutes instead of a full hour. We don’t even watch it anymore, just read results online.
Kara should be become the permanent mentor, and teach the contestants how to become package artists.
