'Jon & Kate': Jon Gosselin's friends come to his defense

Categories: Television

Friends of Jon & Kate Plus 8’s Jon Gosselin have come to the defense of the reality star, who has recently come under scrutiny since photos of him out late with a woman (who was not his wife) surfaced. People.com reports that Pat Fagan, a bouncer at Legends Lounge, where Jon was spotted with the woman, said, "They seemed like casual friends," adding, "There was no romantic anything. They weren’t gazing into each other eyes." Fagan also brought up the allegations that Gosselin is splitting from his wife: "He always has his wedding band on. He talks about his kids all the time. He loves his family." Gosselin has since come out saying the incident "showed poor judgment on my part."

Nothing like getting the support of the bouncer at the bar that would be responsible for Jon’s drunk driving!!!
PA law would convict Legends, and Pat Fagan would lose his/her job.

He deserves to be happy and no one man can live eternity with just one woman. http://cutechristians.com

    Get off his case..

  • GayleInez

    Jon doesn’t have friends.

  • flo reilly

Don’t condone fooling around (if that’s what it was) – but can’t blame someone for wanting some free time from the 8 kidlets, TV cameras, and of course, Kate. Same true for her, I might add.

  • Adam

Well as long as he has his wedding band when he meeting up with a woman other than his wife….

Is the bouncer really his friend? I mean, do they come to family BBQ’s?

  • shamrock

Is this what society has come to, that a grown man can’t go out and have a few drinks with friends. Yes people, men can have women friends, grow up.

  • Suzie

Friends in general will usualy come to one’s defense. Hearing all the rumors that Kate is always with her bodyguard on her road trips and other stupid gossips,(especially the people on GWOP) Jon probably needed a little time off to gather himself. But not a wise decision especially at 2 in the morning with a girl. Anyways, let’s move on and learn from this.

Better thank People magazine on your behalf J-boy. This might be your last chance! Lol!

  • David

P.S. You have better than most of us out here my friend. Good looking wife and eight great kids. Something to think about especially at these turbulent times.

  • Charles

Since when is a bouncer a ‘friend’?
Unless you happen to be there A LOT.

  • MonicaLewinski

He ought to be able to go out. What’s wrong with that? But, it’s just stupid to go out with a woman and be seen drunk at 2:00 AM. Didn’t Kate teach him better? I’m waiting for HER reaction.

I think all these comments and this crap on the negative blogs may have gotten to jon, regarding the security guard and kate. All these are speculations and b.s., in my opinion. If it bothers jon, he should do something about it. But in my opinion it’s all gossip and b.s. where people have no personal life whatsoever.

I DON’T CONDONE CHEATING IN ANY WAY,SHAPE OR FORM. HOWEVER, IF I HAD TO LIVE WITH THAT SELF CENTERED WOMAN I THINK I’D HANG MYSELF. IT’S ALWAYS ALL ABOUT HER.

  • Wesley

I strongly believe that Kate knows Jon more than we do. I also believe that Jon’s heart belong to Kate alone, which includes all their kids. I find Kate to be too mature to even consider any misleading rumors. I am sure Jon has learned a lesson from all this. Bad judgement.. yes.. we all have done that.. learn from it and move on!!!
To Jon and Kate.. fully support and love one another.. it is surely the only way to go.

I think the woman in the car could be Babe the Blue Ox, Babe the Pig, or
Babe(y) Mama. What is a GWOP???

  • Jonsmom

Talk about having friends in low places………….

  • BabieMama

Kate ‘mature’? Kate is a narcissist.

  • PJ

Hmm…could another network/magazines,etc. need some much needed extra revenue? These 2 people, at a very young age, have brought & nurtured 8 beautiful children into this world of ours. Under such stressful circumstances, could YOU do as well?…something to ponder. They’re a wonderful example of true family. For the naysayers out there; get a life & shame on you all. Thank you Jon, Kate & kids for letting us into your world; you have millions of viewers who not only watch your show, but wish all of you the very best, and are looking forward to the upcoming season. Umm…for the public, don’t throw stones in glass houses; would you be willing to have a camera put in YOUR home?…uh huh, that’s what I thought. Let’s all be kind to each other; there are plenty of other things to think about and work on. P.S. Happy Mother’s Day, Moms!

Since when is a bouncer a ‘friend’?
Bouncers can’t have friends? I am sure he isn’t a bouncer 24 hours a day.

  • Adam

    PJ,
It’s true that their life happens in front of the camera, and it’s tough. However, it’s their choice. They chose to have the cameras in their home. They chose to invite millions into their lives. They chose the attention.

Because bouncers are not known to be influenced by a little cash in their greasy palms. Never.

  • shamrock

“Because bouncers are not known to be influenced by a little cash in their greasy palms. Never.”
Yeah, that is only limited to bouncers. Why is everyone down on being a bouncer? It’s a job, right? Someone trying to make a living. Nothing wrong with that. So judgmental all of you.

  • shamrock

“Since when is a bouncer a ‘friend’?
Unless you happen to be there A LOT.”
I have friends who are bouncers but I don’t hang out the bar A LOT. Someone mentioned cheating. Since when is having a female friend cheating? Any evidence that he is cheating before you accuse?

  • Mandy

Wow. The author of this article kind of misused Jon’s quote here. Jon did say the whole thing “showed poor judgment on [his] part”, but he was only referring to the fact that he was out so late and it caused people to question his marriage/involve his family. He was never implying that spending time with a female friend showed poor judgement. Married men ARE allowed to have female friends, you know.

  • Val

When the Kat is away that mouse(Jon) will play and I hope he used a KON DUMB…….For all of you fans out there…I suggest that you write out a big fat check and give it to Kate so that she can toss your ass to the curb…She didnt even spend Easter with her family…Jon and the babysitter took them to services….

  • Gary

The Kon continues. Where is a quote from his friend the owner? The other two guys live in the hotel where the bar is located. Great references!! Legends is a total pick up bar and Jon hangs out there. THIS time he got caught but he’s been bar hopping for months. Glad Jon has bar buddies.

  • SmartChick

Most married men with 8 children are not likely to have a bouncer for a friend.
    Defensive much?

  • Mark

No one is dissing bouncers, Einstein. We’re saying that most married men with kids probably do not hang out with bouncers…just not likely. Your profession is fine.
