Kanye West, Coldplay, Oasis, Lil’ Wayne, and Nine Inch Nails will be headlining the Roskilde Festival in Copenhagen this July, according to Billboard. Now in it’s 39th year, the Roskilde Festival is the longest-running outdoor festival in the world.

SAG and producers reach tentative agreement
After ten months of sometimes explosive negotiations, the Screen Actors Guild and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have mutually agreed to terms for a contract that has yet to be finalized, according to a joint statement released by SAG and the AMPTP. No word on the details of the potential compromise–the actors and producers have been at loggerheads over a wide range of issues since the actors’ contract expired in June–but SAG’s national board of directors will be reviewing the proposal during a videoconference on Sunday, April 19.
Farrah Fawcett down to 86 lbs, says son, Redmond O'Neill
People.com reports that Farah Fawcett’s son, Redmond O’Neill appeared in a Los Angeles court today on drug charges and told the judge he was committed to cleaning up to "be there for my mother." He said, "She weighs about 86 pounds…My timing sucks." He’s referring to Fawcett’s battle with cancer, which recently landed her in the hospital.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs to co-star in 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' spin-off
Sean "Diddy" Combs is joining Elisabeth Moss, Jonah Hill, Rose Byrne, and Russell Brand (reprising his role as over-sexed rocker Aldous Snow) in the Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off movie Get Him to the Greek, according to Billboard. Combs will play record label exec "Sergio." The Judd Apatow-produced film is slated for an April 2010 release.
Pirate Bay founders sentenced to one year in prison
The four founders of the popular bittorrent file-sharing website The Pirate Bay have each been sentenced to one year in prison after being found guilty in a Swedish court of assisting copyright theft, according to CNN. Peter Sunde, Fredrik Neij,Gottfrid Svartholm, and Carl Lundstrom have also been ordered to pay damagesamounting to 30 million Swedish Crowns, or $3.6 million to media companies including Warner Brothers, Columbia, Twentieth Century Fox, Sony BMG, and EMI. This is the first time an online site that provides links to, but does not actually host pirated movies, music, and television content has been found guilty of copyright infringement. The court order did not mandate that the Pirate Bay website shut down, however.
The four defendants said they will appeal the ruling.
Ricky Gervais taps Felicity Jones for 'Men at the Pru'
Felicity Jones (Brideshead Revisited) will have the lead female role in Ricky Gervais’ dramedy The Men at the Pru, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, which Gervais is writing, directing, and producing with his longtime creative partner Stephen Merchant, is about three young men who work at an insurance company; Jones will play a character named Julie, who challenges those who believe that she should prioritize family over career. The Men at the Pru is set to start shooting this summer in the U.K.
Adrian Grenier to produce documentary on media and society
Entourage star Adrian Grenier will produce Spin, a documentary that "explores 21st centurymedia and its impact on society," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Matthew Cooke will direct the feature, which may also become a TV movie or a pilot.
'One Tree Hill' actor faces Social Security fraud charges
One Tree Hill‘s Antwon Tanner pleaded not guilty on March 16 in a Brooklyn courthouse to charges of selling fake Social Security cards and numbers. Tanner, who plays Skills on the CW drama, is accused of committing the alleged fraud between December 2005 and July 2008. Tanner faces up to five years in prison if convicted. He has been released on a $250,000 bond.
Best Buy developing movie download service
Retail chain Best Buy is in talks with CinemaNow and other online movie services to create a movie download offering that could launch as soon as this summer, Variety reports. The effort is aimed at offsetting falling DVD sales. Details are not yet available, but according to Variety, one possibility is that Best Buy would sell Web-enabled TVs and DVD players that include built-in access to an online movie service’s library and share in revenues generated fromdownloads or streaming from the content provider. Blockbuster partnered with CinemaNow in January and will roll out its downloadable offerings, available via set-top devices like TiVo DVRs and Blu-ray players, in the second half of the year. Amazon offers its video-on-demandservice through TiVo and Roku players, and Netflix offers its instantviewing service on those devices and others.
Matthew McConaughey books 'Exchange Student' as next project
Matthew McConaughey’s J.K. Livin production company is developing a new project, Exchange Student, a comedy about two college exchange students, according to The Hollywood Reporter. One of the exchange students heads out from the U.S., while the other comes to America. However, the pair experience their exchange very differently—one enjoys the situation and the other "goes off the rails." McConaughey could potentially star in one of the nonlead roles.
