Sumner Redstone to Jay Leno: 'CSI' will 'beat the hell' out of you

I know I will watch anything else but Jay Leno. He is the only reason my favorite show, “Chuck,” may not return. So I’m hoping Leno flops BIG TIME. 5 nights of the same show in prime time?? After a month at most viewers will tune in one or two nights a week IF they like the guests. I hope Redstone is right.
Jay Leno’s current show is cheap to produce. His contract isn’t prohibitively high. Finishing second place on this time slot will be a victory. And frankly, I’m tired of the CSI/Miami/NY leading men playing “Dueling Douchebags” with each other.
I’m disappointed that Jay chose to move to the 10p.m. time slot knowing full well it would mean the death of a number of excellent scripted shows. Isn’t he friends with some of these people? It will come back to bite him. Chuck better not be cancelled!
Jay’s Show is the same lame deal that NBC offered Letterman back in 93. This was made to burn out Leno so he couldn’t jump to FOX or ABC.
It may win because if the other networks offer shows that are boring that night “let’s see what Jay’s got” What I feel sa about is that Conan will still get slim pickings. As for Jimmy he is left to fade.
Are you lives so shallow that you actually care? Everyone here in vampireland knows that Letterman is nothing but a walking corpse, Leno will live forever, and Redstone is too anemic for lunch. Check out Leno’s fangs; they are sharp, retractable, and were made by Danny Gans dentist.
Jay has been hosting The Tonight Show for 17 years. The three CSI shows have been on for 9, 7, and 5 seasons. Dramas and sitcoms eventually succumb to dwindling ratings but talk shows change hosts once in a blue moon.
Mark my words! Leno in the 10 PM slot will outlast any show now on in that time slot — even if Leno retires 6 years from now at age 65.
