Two-time Dancing with the Stars winner Julianne Hough says she won’t return for the ninth season of the show, reports Access Hollywood. The dancer revealed her decision after being eliminated from the competition on Tuesday along with her partner (and real-life boyfriend), singer Chuck Wicks. Hough made a similar claim after season seven of the show but changed her mind when asked to dance with Wicks. Hough also has a career as a country singer; her self-titled debut album reached the top of Billboard’s country album chart last year. Hough is still under contract to appear in future seasons of the show.

It would be so great if she took her brother with her. He’s a great dancer, but his constant mugging and annoying antics are too much.
Please god, no Benji. He is a fool. I will take Artem, Pasha and Anya, in that order. I like Julianne’s choreography and she is a great dancer, but she carries her partners. Sometimes she takes them too far, like Helio. I wonder if this means we will get to have two of the new pros who are competing for spots this season…
I love Benji, but he would NOT be good for this show. Pasha and Anya yes! Bye Julianne…you were fun to watch the first couple of seasons, but now your cute-as-a-button act has gotten old and boring. Bring on new buttons!

Frankly I hope she goes because Julianne has just been phoning it in for the last couple of seasons and only using the show to promote herself. She doesn’t care about her partners even her so called boyfriend. It was all a showmance to help their careers.

I think it will be nice to see some new faces. I find it harder to pull for someone who has already won a couple of times. Not a big fan of Mark Ballas either.
I love Julianne but these last two seasons have not been her best. Juggling two careers has taken its toll on her. She’s even lost a lot of weight. She needs to take a break from the show, get rid of that jerk bf, and come back refreshed.

I’ll miss her – she’s one of my favourites. Always comes up with interesting choreography and is a fantastic dancer.

oh give derek a break he’s a fabulous dancer. all men should be so in touch with their bodies the world would be a better place. Yoga anyone?
Derek “Bobblehead” Hough and Julianne “Fake as Hell” Hough both need to not come back. Genya (the pro that is competing) that is related to Alec Mazo looks like a crazy man. Both me and my husband agree that he looks like one of those guys you don’t want to run into in an alley. Just weird face I guess.
I’ll miss her and I hope she will be back. And don’t be hating on Julianne and Derek! I love them both! They are the reasons I watch DWTS.

I’m not surprised that she’s leaving – her first love is music. I wish she’d take her brother with her. I liked him at first, but since he won, he’s been too annoying. I can’t imagine Julianne will pose for playboy – not too many Mormons would even consider doing that!
