Tags:

Jeffrey Katzenberg has re-upped with DreamWorks Animation thru 2013. Variety reports that the CEO has renewed his contract with the thriving studio behind recent hits Madagascar 2, Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs. Aliens. Katzenberg will reportedly be paid $1 per year, with additional compensation in the form of stock incentives tightly linked to the company’s share price.

The studio is currently prepping a fourth Shrek film (2010), a Kung Fu Panda sequel (2011) and How to Train Your Dragon (2010).

ANOTHER Shrek? God…the third was horrible. Seriously they should stop the series. 1 was the best, 2 was alright.

Am I reading this correctly? Katzenberg is going to get one dollar a year plus compensation? I feel like the word “million” might be missing…

Yeah I went to a press junket for MONSTERS VS. ALIENS back in Dec. when Mr. Katzenberg fielded questions and I inquired about a potential frnachise for M Vs.A, and he said that pretty much all of their future animated films would also now be filmed so as to be shown as 3-D flicks and 2-D, and that by the time the new Shrek was done fore 2010 hopefully more theaters will be equipped with the new tchnology to roll out the film in more 3-D theaters.

You really make it seem so easy with your praoentetisn but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!
