20th Century Fox has decided to postpone the Wednesday Mexico City premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine due to the swine flu crisis, according to People. A rep for 20th Century Fox said, "We were not only concerned about Hugh’s welfare – and we would never send anyone into harm’s way – but we also have an enormous office filled with people we care about. There was no point in proceeding under the current conditions."

If the flu doesn’t kill you this terrible movie will.
so by sending people in harms way do they mean the cast, or the audience?
Postponed until Mexico’s troubles end, so they should see it sometime around 2045.
Talk about a horrible statement from a studio…so they don’t care about anyone but their star and their staff? Makes me not want to put any money into this film. How freaken insensitive.
I don’t blame them, all of Mexico City is shut down – schools closed indefinitely, churches closed, no spectators allowed at soccer games. This is a safety precaution not only for the stars, but for anyone who would be attending. Being in a place of mass gathering with this flu being as contagious as it is is not smart.
