Two of Hollywood biggest talent agencies, William Morris and Endeavor, approved a merger today, reports Variety and Deadline Hollywood Daily. As previously reported, the new company will be called WME Entertainment, and will represent a large roster of A-list clients including Robert Pattinson, Hugh Jackman, Mel Gibson, Christian Bale, Quentin Tarantino and Britney Spears.

Get Pattinson some good roles. The Riddler in Batman would be perfect.
I hope this means Pattinson gets a chance to see some good scrips.
I love seeing Rob’s name at the front of the list. Spot on EW, spot on.
It used to be that you needed to headline more than one hit movie (bonus points if it’s actually good) to be a member of the A-list.
I think Pattinson is talented, but to put him up there with people who’ve been working for well over a decade is kind of a joke.
(Dodges fire from the “Twilight” fans.)
So yesterday, I took a friend to court and sat in the waiting room with my New Moon book. The place is packed. The guy sitting next to me (gorgeous!) says that he read Twilight and liked it a lot and wondered about New Moon. The room falls silent and every person in the room looks at us. A (scary) guy in line says “Oh, I read all 4 books…” There’s guys in Harley T-shirts hanging on every word. Of course Stephenie Meyer is responsible for the whole thing, but Robert Pattinson is HUGELY responsible for bringing a low budget flick into the hearts of all walks of people worldwide. If he’s not A-list, who is?
Of course Robert Pattison is a member of A-list, It might seems unfair for some actors working for a longer time that he is, but Hollywood is an industry based in people choices and likings, and right now Robert is HUGE, not only for the success of Twilight, but also for his charisma and humbleness, he is very down to earth and people can not get enough of him, he is like fresh air in this industry, people feels identified with him, he is like having someone from your own family making it big in Hollywood….He is here to stay and we love him.. GO ROB!!!!!
This was posted on IMDB and it explains Pattinson’s appeal well. He is A list for sure.
Somethings comes organically.
Pattinson has that rare quality of substance over looks. A genuine way of seeing and observing things that allows him to search beyond surfaces. As far as an Airhead you might find. A Discriminating Taste. Everything that surrounds him, be it a book, a friend, a hanger on or an opportunist gains from his light.
I can objectively agree with you guys in that Robert Pattinson IS indeed a member of the A-list right now.
Due to the books’ and the movie’s popularity, he’s one of the most famous people in the world right now. (Emphasis on “right now.”) Also, I’m glad for the guy: like I already said, I think he’s talented, and, based on interviews I’ve read, he’s humble and has a great, self-deprecating sense of humor.
I was just remembering a time when you actually had to somewhat pay your dues and prove your worth over any sort of extended period of time before you got to be a member of the A-list.
I guess my point is that just because he headlined a movie that was likely going to be a pretty big hit no matter what dreamy guy they put in the lead role, it doesn’t necessarily mean he should be considered Hollywood royalty. Then again, that just shows how much the definition of A-List in today’s ADD, flash-in-the-pan culture has changed. (By this standard, Susan Boyle is A-list.)
