The nonprofit Entertainment Industries Council honored individual performances and productions that advance public awareness of substance abuse and mental-health issue at the 2009 Prism Awards. Among the honorees: Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), William Shatner (Boston Legal), Benjamin Bratt (The Cleaner), Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives), and Chandra Wilson (Hallmark Channel’s telefilm Accidental Friendship). Other television honorees included AMC’s Breaking Bad, Fox’s King of the Hill, NBC’s Law & Order: SVU and The Office, CBS’ miniseries Sybil, and Dr. Phil. FX will air the ceremony Sept. 26as part of National Alcohol and Drug Addiction RecoveryMonth, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
