Rihanna is working on new tunes with Stargate, the Norwegian producing duo says, confirming widespread reports that she has returned to the studio in recent months. Stargate’s Tor Erik Hermansen told MTV News this week that their recent recording sessions with Rihanna have been "very inspiring." A representative for EMI Music Publishing, which co-publishes Stargate’s music, confirmed that they are working with Rihanna, but declined to provide further details. A representative for Rihanna did not respond to requests for comment. Stargate and Rihanna have collaborated on several songs in the past, including 2006’s "Unfaithful," 2007’s "Hate That I Love You," and 2008’s "Take a Bow."
