Tonight Show host Jay Leno checked into a Burbank hospital today for treatment of a minor illness, according to NBC. No details about his ailment were given, but it is believed to be a case of food poisoning.
"Jay Leno is doing just fine," said the network in a statement. "He was kidding around with the hospital staff and running his monologue jokes by the doctors and the nurses. He’s expected back to work on Monday." Repeats of The Tonight Show will air on Thursday and Friday.
