Jason Statham (Crank: High Voltage) is in talks to play Arthur Bishop in a "reinvention" of the 1972 action movie, The Mechanic, according to reports that his reps have confirmed to EW. In the original film, Charles Bronson played Bishop, a professional hit man who trains a young man to become his protege. Simon West (Con Air) is rumored to direct the new movie.

well in crank 2 he puts jumper cables in his mouth maybe in this film he drinks brake fluids to regain energy or even drink battery fluid what ever it is the plot im sure would be hardcore.
Here’s a sneak peak at Statham’s next project:

They’re remaking a Bronson movie?
It’s official, Hollywood is out of ideas.
I almost spit out (or was it sneezed out?) my coke in excitment! They are making a movie about Arthur Bishop from Fringe? already? one the first season? with Jason-love-me-that-action-figure-Statham? and then I continued reading and realized it isn’t in fact a “Fringe” movie. Oh well, I’ll still watch Jason in anything.
