So what does this mean for the fate of Samantha Who?
They should cancel In the Motherhood, air the last two episodes of Samantha Who back to back and bring it back in the fall for a full season.
I never understood why they pulled UB in the 1st place.
Who could have predicted that ABC’s little “Motherhood” experiment in “Ugly Betty”‘s slot would have been an utter and complete disaster? Oh, that’s right: Everyone. Except the network execs. Seriously, are the networks being run entirely by brain-damaged monkeys at this point? Next up, NBC: Ohmigod, the other networks are crushing Jay Leno at ten every night! Who could’ve predicted this? What were we thinking?
Totally agree with viewit. Air the Samantha Who finale and then move it back to Mondays where it belongs!
I’m glad they are correcting themselves. It was just a crazy gamble that didn’t pay off just as trading off Boston Legal for Eli Stone proved to be a fatal disaster. Sometimes it’s best to be content with a consistent ratings performer and although Ugly Betty isn’t a Grey’s Anatomy powerhouse, it’s certainly solid.
I wish networks would stop moving shows around and taking off other shows to launch new ones. It never works. Air the show where you intend to keep it. Samantha Who? should’ve stayed on Mondays and Ugly Betty should have stayed on Thursdays. They could have aired that motherhood show elsewhere (or in the summer, or not at all).
FINALLY!! Ticks me off to think of the broken rhythm, though, and trying to get caught up again on the various storylines. SO unnecessary.
I’m so glad Ugly Betty is finally coming back, my Thursday nights just didn’t seem the same since it went on hiatus (thank God for The Office)!
Let me get htese network execs a piece of advice: if you want a show to be successful–STOP SWITCHING THE SCHEDULE!!! In Miranda Priestley’s words “That’s all…”
SO unnecessary.
The item misspelled “originally”.
Wow, that was a weak hiatus! Glad Betty is back on, but would this bode well or Samantha Who?
In the Motherhood is take it or leave it for me. Such wasted talents on a so-so show.
Thank goodness! Can’t wait for more Betty.
Yay!! That’s great news.

What does “oringally” means?
