Madonna has filed an appeal against the Malawian court ruling that denied her attempt to adopt a four-year-old girl, Mercy James, from the country, reports Reuters. The pop star’s lawyer, Alan Chinula, told the news agency that the court will hear the appeal on May 4. Madonna, who is already the adoptive mother of a Malawian boy, is not expected to appear.
