Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo and her husband/music producer Chris Ivery are expecting their first child, People.com reports. A spokeswoman for the actress confirmed the news Sunday. Pompeo, 39, and Ivery, 41, were married in November, 2007.

You could defintely tell she was expecting because her face was a little fuller than normal. Congrats to Ellen & Chris!!
Hmmm a McBaby on Grey’s, it could certianly do the trick. Look at CSI: NY, because of the D/L baby that franchise had a ratings boost, this could certainly help. I might have to tune into Grey’s after a 3 year abscence…maybe.
Oooo, that’s interesting. That’ll be hard to cover up considering the style of this show and Pompeo being the lead. And yeah, Meredith being pregnant could provide some great material.
Hopefully the McBaby on the show doesn’t turn out to be Izzie reincarnated. (You know they probably thought of it)

I am ecstatically happy for Ellen and Chris. I want them to write it into the storyline. McBaby would be so cute. The hormones and stomach talking would be too cute.
Less Meredith on Greys is always welcome. Finally the show might improve so this is great news. Ellen Pompeo is such a mediocre actress.
