Madonna horse accident update

Tagged:

Madonna was thrown from a horse Saturday evening in New York’s Hamptons, suffering "minor injuries and bruises," her publicist announced. The accident occurred when the 50-year-old singer’s horse was startled by paparazzi who had "jumped out of the bushes" to photograph her, rep Liz Rosenberg said. Madonna—who was visiting celebrity photographer Steven Klein at the time of the accident, according to The New York Daily News—was treated at Southampton Hospital and released. No further information about her condition was disclosed, but in a statement, Rosenberg said the singer, reportedly recovering at friend Gwyneth Paltrow’s Hamptons estate, would undergo additional tests and remain under a doctor’s observation. PhotographerThomas Hinton, 34, who took photos of Madonna before and after theaccident, told TMZ.com on Sunday that he was not present during the incident. Rosenberg didn’trespond to requests for comment. In 2005, Madonna broke several bones in a horseback-riding accident at her country estate outside London, an incident she called "the most painful experience of my life."

Update: According to TMZ.com the police have confirmed that no one from Madonna’s camp made mention of a photographer causing the accident.

Good grief paparazzi, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

I think the paparazzi’s are getting too daring. What are they going to do next? Busting in a bedroom to startle the man to throw off the riding woman from their bed?

They’re not getting more daring, they’re being equally as stupid as they’ve always been. If you want to photograph someone horseriding, how hard is it to do it from a distance with a good lens? Instead lets run the risk of injuring her? WTF?!

ONE MORE time when these low-life scrum bags (paparrazzi’s) cause death. They are not responsible, they are ill mannered, and have no respect for anyone. Their answer to everything: “I didn’t do it!” Grow up – you thugs! Sure glad I’m not in the lime-light; I’d really put the hurt on them!

Wow…idiot paparazzi! Seriously how many deaths do they need on their hands?

It’s partly her fault. If she had let the horse ride her she would have already been on the ground. But, noooo, It always has to be on top. Ok, the horse might have fallen on her, but I bet she’d like that.

They are not getting daring! Courage has nothing to do with stupidity! Get a good camera or leave people alone. What a novel idea!

Some of these paparrazzi have under the law become,”A danger to themselves or others.” The should be put into a psych hospital after events such as these. They are considered code,5150 which means they are mentally ill. They should be prevented in some cases from photographing celebreties before they cause injury to themselves or others when showing desperation such as this incident.

The jackass posting as “Guy Ritchie’s mum” really should get a life.

Madonna! Sue the bastard paparazzi! News is one thing, physical injury is quite another. Chris Reeve died from a fall from a horse. Make it clear this behavior is irresponsible.

    Speedy recovery, M! xo

It seems there is an argument here for assault and battery. Wouldnt that be the case if someone ran out of the bushes screaming and waving a club when it is forseeable that the horses would be spooked? They always shout to try to get a facial shot, their club is a flashing box, whats the difference to a horse?
