Kevin Smith to perform one-man show at Carnegie Hall

Writer-director-actor Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Zack and Miri Make a Porno) will perform a one-night show at New York’s Carnegie Hall this summer, according to Variety. Titled Silent Bob Speaks: An Evening With Kevin Smith, the planned three-hour performance will consist of Smith recounting stories and taking questions from the audience. The show is scheduled for June 17.

    This dude has only made one good movie & that was the 1st CLERKS! & he made that into a good film by accident! When will people get tired of the douchbag and stop giving him $, just like that other douchbag Seth Rogen!

    I can not think of ANYTHING more painful than to have to listen to this self absorbed narcissistic philistine piece of white trash talk for three hours. God On Wheel! I would like to see the secret gay video of him and Tarantino.

    Kevin Smith is the same supposed film expert who compared Craig Brewer’s awful “Black Snake Moan” to William Faulkner on “At the Movies.” This caused both Gene Siskel and Faulkner to rotate 360 degrees in their graves. I can’t imagine paying to see Smith’s idiotic pronouncements.

    Clerks was so-so but everything else after has gotten better and better. hope he makes a dvd out of this show.
