Cameron Bright will appear as Alec and Academy Award nominee Graham Greene will play Harry Clearwater in the Twilight sequel New Moon, Summit Entertainment announced on Wednesday. A press release on the studio’s website revealed the names of all new members of the cast, some of whom had been announced previously: "New cast members include the legendaryVolturi, a venerable coven of vampires who weigh and impose the laws ofthe vampire world, as well as two new members of the Quileute IndianNation. The Volturi include Charlie Bewley as Demetri, Jamie CampbellBower as Caius, Daniel Cudmore as Felix, Christopher Heyerdahl asMarcus, all Volturi enforcers. Dakota Fanning plays Jane, a highranking and powerful Volturi member and Cameron Bright is Alec, herbrother. Noot Seear plays Volturi member Heidi. Michael Sheen plays Aro,the Volturi leader. Graham Greene appears as Harry Clearwater, Quileutetribal leader and old friend of Bella’s father Charlie. Tinsel Korey isEmily, the fianceé of Sam Uley."

Wow, they got some really quality actors/actresses here. Michael Sheen? Graham Greene? Cameron Bright? I just got a little more excited for this movie.
I love Graham Greene. I have watched movies just to see him. He is one of the best actors out there.

Is this all the casting? Interesting choices (especially Graham Greene), but it’s getting a little old to have a Twilight brief every time some random person is cast. Nice move compressing them all into one brief instead of having them as eight separate entries.
This cast is EPIC. Now that we finally have an awesome director, New Moon will blow everyone away!!

FINALLY! I’m pretty excited that Christopher Heyerdahl was cast as Marcus. He played Alastair on “Supernatural”, and I’m a big SN fan. He’s a terrific actor and he’ll do a great job. Love who they cast as Aro and Alec, but I’m not very familiar w/ the rest of the actors.

Tickled to death to see Chris Heyerdahl in this! Loved him in Stargate Atlantis as “Todd” the Wraith (and as a member of Tayla’s people early in the series), and in both his parts in Sanctuary as “John” (Jack the Ripper) and as Bigfoot.
This makes me more likely to see the movie.

The casting for this gets better an better, Just hope we all don’t get sick of hearing about it constantly (not a complaint just an observation) and that the film can live up to it’s hype.

Christopher Heyerdahl is a great choice! He played Alistair in a few episodes of “Supernatural” this season and he is fricken awesome and creepy!

Cameron Bright played the kid in Godsend(the replacement son) and in the movie Birth opposite of Nicole Kidman. He freaked me out a lil in both films so I think he will be a good Alec!!
