The top 10 contestants from this season of American Idol will hit the road for a nationwide tour starting July 5 in Portland, Ore. The touring finalists will be Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver, and Scott MacIntyre, who will play in a total of 50 cities. We have attended the concerts for the past two years but won’t be going this year. Despite all the noise about Adam, this group is inferior in every way to last year–especially with no David Cook.
i think if i do go, it’ll only be because of adam.

It’s too bad they don’t plan on taking the entire ‘Baker’s Dozen’ (13) on tour this year. I would have liked to see more of both Alexis and Jasmine (Jorge could stay home if he wanted to) and I think their singing careers would have benefited from it as well.

To bad the good (Adam, Kris, Allison) doesn’t outweigh the bad (Megan, Scott, Danny, Lil, Michael).

Last year, my family and I had a great (unexpected!) time at the concert. The top 10 were really fun! This year we will only go if Adam wins or comes in second. My husband said there is no way in he!! he is going to sit through Scott, Megan and Lil, if Adam only gets to perform 1 song. Only the top few sing multiple songs on the tour.
At first I was disappointed that the tour isn’t coming to Houston, but have to agree with those who feel this top 10 is pretty boring. Only Adam and Alexis stand out for me.
i love american idol. but do you know i what i like the most about american idol is that would be that i love that Danny sings so well.
But i do think the judges need to lighten up on all the singers
I wish it would start right now and get these low talent boobs off of my TV.
Why would ANYONE pay to see someone like Lil sing someone elses song worse thatn the original. Really. I want to know? I can’t belive anyone would pay for this. Go to your local high school talent show.
This will be the worst attended tour in Idol history. I can barely remember the remaining contestants first names, and have no clue what their last names are. First time ever.
