Elektra/Atlantic Records has announced that it will release a soundtrack album for HBO’s True Blood on May 19. In addition to Jace Everett’s series theme "Bad Things" and an original tune from Louisiana rocker C.C. Adcock titled "Bleed 2 Feed," the CD will include previously released songs from Lucinda Williams ("Lake Charles"), Ryan Adams ("Two"), Dr. John ("I Don’t Wanna Know"), Allen Toussaint ("From a Whisper to a Wind"), The Flying Burrito Brothers ("Christine’s Tune"), and more. Season 1 of True Blood arrives on DVD and Blu-Ray the same day, May 19; the thriller is expected to return for a second season on HBO this June.
