You said: “But again, I’ve never known truth to be of much use to anyone who would raise this issue anyway.” What “issue” would that be? Accuracy at amazon.com? How many people do you know that have raised that issue? Is the issue gay rights? Because there are a lot of things one could complain about regarding gay rights proponents, but “truth” isn’t among them.
It’s too bad that your otherwise-insightful posting is invalidated by your character reveal there at the end.
Perhaps I worded that incorrectly. The ‘issue’ I speak of is the apparent intentional targeting of gays, which is of course false. That it IS false would not stop someone from suggesting it anyway. That’s what I meant.
I’m simply pointing out that there are numerous ways that it COULD in fact be a technical glitch. Those who say that it absolutely was not a glitch are not interested in truth.
Now specifically, @XSE Drake: I’m sure your comment made sense in your head. As long as you feel like you contributed, that’s something at least.
@ToShane: This has nothing to do with gay rights proponents. This has to do with seeking sympathy and attention where none is due. If it was intentional, then by all means let there be an apology issued. But a technical glitch IS possible, and anyone who suggests otherwise is not interested in truth.
Blah, blah, blah, blah… Get over it, friends. Let’s move on.
