Eminem, whose new album Relapse drops May 19, is the first performer announced for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, which will be broadcast live May 31 from Los Angeles’ Gibson Amphitheatre and hosted by Saturday Night Live‘s Andy Samberg. For the first time, MTV is allowing fans to help choose the nominees in all categories — including Best WTF Moment. The first round of voting runs now through April 20. On May 4, the official nominees will be named, and fans will again vote to pick the winners.
