The only pilot left standing at Showtime is Tim Robbins’ family drama Possible Side Effects, which stars Josh Lucas (Glory Road) and centers on a dysfunctional family that got rich from the pharmaceutical business, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The network just passed on pilot Ronna and Beverly, a comedy from Weeds producer Jenji Kohan and set to star Jessica Chaffin (Zoey 101) and Jamie Denbo (Happy Hour). Over the past week, Showtime also passed on both The L Word spin-off and Matthew Perry’s comedy The End of Steve. Lionsgate, the studio behind Ronna and Beverly, is expected to shop the pilot to other networks.
