Redmond O’Neal faces up to three years in prison after a judge ruled on Friday that the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal violated his probation for a drug offense, People.com reports. Earlier this week, the 24-year-old was arrested and charged with felony drug possession for attempting to smuggle drugs into a California detention facility. That followed a drug-related arrest last year, for which he had been on probation. Redmond O’Neal is being held in custody without bail; his lawyer had no comment.

I don’t feel sorry for people on drugs.Send him to jail!
What is wrong with the O’Neal family? All 3 of his children seem to be genetically doomed to be addicts. How sad.
It’s called a genetic predisposition to addiction. Prison may well keep Redmond alive – for awhile. Maybe he’ll get some help. He’s sure not doing himself any good right now.
