YouTube, Universal Music announce new music video site

Tagged: , ,

Universal Music Group and YouTube have announced a premium music video site called Vevo, reports Reuters. The site, which the companies expect to launch in the next few months, will offer high-quality music videos as opposed to the smaller, grainier clips that often appear on YouTube, a subsidiary of Google. The clips offered on Universal’s YouTube channel, meanwhile, have logged more than 3.8 billion total views to date.
