A So You Think You Can Dance choreographer who was accused of sexually assaulting four of his students will not be charged for the crimes because of a lack of evidence, the Los Angeles district attorney’s office told the Associated Press. Police had been investigating allegations that SYTYCD choreographer Alex Da Silva, 41, who also teaches at multiple LA dance studios, had raped four female dance students in his bedroom in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Da Silva was arrested on Saturday, but released from jail on Tuesday. In a chilling quote to the AP, Da Silva’s defense attorney, Harland Braun said that some of Da Silva’s accusers "don’t understand the difference between being seduced and being raped."

“Don’t know the difference between being seduced and being raped…”
Whether he raped them or not, that quote is DISGUSTING.
I thought he was a choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance, not Dancing with the Stars.
He is not a choreographer for Dancing with the Stars. He is from So You Thing You Can Dance.
Geez, guys. Get your facts straight at the very least. It was “So You Think You Can Dance”, not DWTS.
NOT DWTS!
And what a disgusting, horrifying quote!
They may not understand the difference between being seduced and being raped. But you guys don’t understand the difference between “So You Think You Can Dance” and “Dancing with the Stars”
Excellent fact checker you got working at EW.
Its So You Think You Can Dance!
Wow, I think the attorney is even more creepy than the accused!
So is EW ever going to fix the headline???? This is a bad as National Enquirer people!!! I blame Ausiello for this.
