I think that the reason they moved forward 4 years to Micheal’s death. Was because, later on if they bring back the show they can fill us in on those 4 years. for us.
This was a phenomenal finale! I understand that Michael died and yes he was my favorite character too.. but some of you have to look at the bigger picture.. Michael and Sara had a beautiful child… and everyone who we loved (with the exception of Michael) survived!
Honestly…someone had to die and somehow I knew it was going to be Michael. But did anyone happen to read the grave stone?
Remember in season one when Michael quoted Sara? “Be the change you want to see in the world” Michael was that change… I thought the ending was touching, not to mention VERY well written. Respect the writers of the show for such an amazing and well put together ending. I think its beautiful how through Michael’s death so many innocents were free.
Also not to worry everyone a Prison Break movie is on the way…in a straigh to DVD/blue-ray Release. Don’t believe me? Look it up. It will fill in what happened durring those four years. The DVD is supposed to be $26.99 AND Blue-ray is $29.99

can not believe the show has ended. I was so happy to see everyone survived, but then 4years later finding out micheal has died i was heartbroken. I cried and cried i know its only a show, but the bond he had with his brother linc, and the love he had for sarah just touched me. Thank you to the writers of prison break for keeping us on our toes for 4years.

the moment I saw Michel died, I googled to see wat ppl from boat had to say!! I’m still finding it hard to believe its over!! Anyways A TRULY GREAT SHOW and hats off to all characters

The date on the tombstone was 1995, I get that all events happened on one year. I now wonder if all the vehicles used during shooting were from the 2005 time period, or were they current models?

i saw the finale on irish TV, my friend thought she saw the finale on british TV but they were two totally conflciting programmes.
methinks she saw the four year interlude mentioned above as she said that sarah was broken out of a prison and michael was electrocuted??
i saw the finale where the UN guy exhonerated them all and at the end, they visited the grave and laid flowers with Michael Jr.
so, now i have to ask- did michael die from the tumour or electrocution?
and the date on tombstone confused me too…
also, did the tombstone say ‘husband’??

Hard to believe even harder to have resignation on such ending. There must be something else being cooked by FOX. Cannot let such best seller go away like this. Should they have changwed the name to help it continue.’
Ok, haven’t read all the comments and I just watched the series finale on dvd, and Michaels tombstone is driving me crazy. it says 10/74 – 11/05…
When Linc gets the message from Cristina, he notices the pic is doctored cuz it is a 78 car and Michael was born in 76. Then I saw somewhere else that they give his birth year as 78…. it just bugs me. Love the show, hate that he died, I cried (how corny) but I just wish the tombstone was correct you know?
There’s nothing i would want more than seeing Michael again.I can say without regrets that i would give my life just for it’s sake.Reading at your comments, it felt like for the first time in my life people understood me.Albania loves you.Keep it up with the good work. I hated seeing Michael not being there with MJ and Sarah,it made me feel so bad and angry with the writers, but still i’m hoping for another season.It just didn’t covince me the thing with Michael’s death.
