EW.com has confirmed that Thomas Calabro (Greek) is headed back to Melrose Place. The actor, who played philandering creep Dr. Michael Mancini on the dishy ’90s primetime soap, will reprise his role as a recurring character on the CW’s much-anticipated reboot, a show insider reveals. Calabro is the second original cast member to jump to the new Melrose, joining Laura Leighton, who starred as the unhinged Sydney (who once had an affair with brother-in-law Michael).

I always thought he was really handsome back on the old show.

The cast of Melrose 2.0 is coming together so nicely that they should sign Calabro to regular status and drop the new cast; with the exception of Leighton and simply just re-sign original stars of the series.
If the new 90210 would only sign Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty and Tori Spelling to regular cast members and ditch the new class with the exception of Canadian cutie, Shenea Grimes the show wouldn’t suck so bad!
Lets hope the new Melrose isn’t as boring as the new 90210.

Nah, Sydney didn’t die in the finale. She died one or two years before the show ended. It will be difficult for them to explain how she’s not dead….make that difficult, absurd, and ridiculous. Not a great way to start a new show, lol.
No Michael did not die. Peter rewareded Michael very good when he helped fake Peter & Amanda’s death. Remember his last scene he was in his office with a nurse on his lap smiling his devilish smile. I thought he was a perfect foil for Peter. Also with Lexi (who will be joining AMC as the new Liza) too. Whatever they do, PLEASE PLEASE do not bring back Andrew Shue/Billy unless he has taking ACTING LESSONS. He was horrible. Allii-son. Too bad Anna-Lynne McCord is on 90210 because she is much better suited for MP.

No, Kimberly blew up MP in season 3. You are probably thinking about what the previous post mentioned. Peter & Amanda faked their deaths when the cabin they were supposedly staying in exploded in the series finale. Peter & Amanda are some place tropical. Will Melrose Place 2.0 be good trashy fun like the first? Probably not but remember the first season of MP was a snoozer. It was going to get canceled until Heather Locklear was the “Special Guest Star” As for Ashlee Simpson, lets hope she disappears just like Sandy did on the first season. Can not remember Sandy? Exactly, she was on there for 13 episodes and then was gone and never was missed. FYI: She was the blonde (struggling actress)with the horrible faux southern accent and all of the sudden no more accent.

This is the news i’ve been WAITING for. Michael was the BEST part of Melrose place and i’m glad to see him come back! awesome news. Now if only they can get Daphne Zuniga back we’ll all be happy.

Jake wasn’t with Allison when both left the show. She pushed him to be with his ex and son.
