Ryan O’Neal’s 24-year-old son, Redmond O’Neal, was arrested April 5 after allegedly trying to smuggle drugs into prison custody. O’Neal, who had been visiting an inmate at Pitchess Detention South Facility in Santa Clarita, was taken into custody and held on $25,000 bail. This is his second arrest in seven months: O’Neal was arrested and charged for drug possession in September after officials found methamphetamine in his father’s Malibu residence.
UPDATE: On Tuesday, O’Neal was charged with felony drug possession, Reuters reports.
