This guarantees that they’ll be on a new edition of Stephen Colbert’s “Who’s Not Honoring Me Now”
SNL? Award? That show hasn’t been funny for decades! Why is it even still on the air?????
I knew ‘Giant Pool of Money’ would win a Peabody. It explained everything that was going wrong and what would happen if things continue (and it did). Want more of this check NPR’s Planet Money blog. http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/
Congratulations Lost! Best show on TV
John I’ll grant you that overall SNL is not very funny. But they were awarded specifically for the stuff during the election with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and that stuff was just brilliant.
Kudos to Lost, John Adama, Richard Engel and The Onion News Network!
New Rule: You can’t call your award ‘prestigious’ if you give out 36 at a time.
The Colbert Report won last year.
note the date people, entourage and a peabody… Syd Finch is laughing in the Himalayas right about now….
What about BSG? The show was a pioneer from beginning to end, not just in Sci-fi and fantasy, but in all of tv storytelling. I hope that other awards at least recognize the greatness of this show.
What’s next? Another Twilight cover?
Wow – I think the Peabody Awards just jumped the shark.
BSG won a Peabody a year or two ago.
mjade27, word!
Lost? Entourage? really?
congratulations, LOST!!
Dude, how could you not mention “Breaking Bad” in the headline???
BREAKING BAD, YAY!
