American Idol champ David Cook canceled two shows at college campuses in New Hampshire and Connecticut on Monday and Tuesday due to "family matters," People.com reports, citing an announcement the singer made on his website. Cook’s brother has been battling brain cancer for more than a decade. Cook is still expected to appear on Wednesday’s American Idol in a taped performance, and he plans to return to touring on Thursday.

well Karl, I guess you are the MORON, since his reps reported that he took time off to be with his brother who is ill.
David was home for the funeral, people. He will talk about it when he’s ready. Or not. It’s up to him obviously. Don’t beat up on innocent bystanders just because you yourselves are not ready for the truth.
Huh? did I miss something. Did his brother pass away???
How do peeps know that he was home for a funeral?
