Paul Bettany in negotiations to star in 'Priest'

Paul Bettany (The Young Victoria) is in talks to star in Screen Gems’ horror Western Priest, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Produced by Michael De Luca, Josh Donen, and Mitchell Peck, the movie is an adaptation of the TokyoPop comic book of the same name, which follows a rogue cleric (Bettany) who defies the church by hunting down a deadly gang of vampires who have abducted his niece.
