Ice Cube is onboard to star in New Line Cinema’s action comedy Ride Along, reports Variety. The rapper-actor will play a cop who seeks to ruin his engaged sister’s relationship with an affluent white psychiatrist by inviting her fiancé on an ill-advised ride-along with him in his squad car. Cube will produce the movie with his colleague Matt Alvarez from Cube Vision. Production is set to begin this summer.
