What a tremendous loss to the film/music industry, my thoughts go out to the family and friends. He will live on in his beautiful music.
He will be remembered through his music. His theme from Lawrence of Arabia is incredible, iconic and represents Hollywood at it’s best.
My heart goes out to a man who took us away to far-off places through his music.
One of the greats! It truly says something when the musical scores are as famous – or perhaps more so – than the films themselves. Very sad.
One of his most memorable and outstanding scores was Jesus of Nazareth. A brilliant score
One of the all-time greatest composers for movies! I am stricken to hear of his passing. His music was/is unforgettable. Truly a loss.
He will truly be missed, what a gifted man. My personal favorite is the barn raising score from “Witness”, an old Harrison Ford movie.
