As expected, Atlanta rapper T.I. (born Clifford Harris Jr.) was sentenced today to one year and a day in prison following his October 2007 arrest for federal weapons charges, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Under the plea agreement, T.I. could reduce his time behind bars by 15 percent with good behavior. T.I. is scheduled to report to prison in the next six to eight weeks, though the judge described previously agreed-upon commitments that would not allow him to enter prison before May 19.
