Isaiah Washington has signed on to play soul singer Lou Rawls, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Rawls’ hits included "Love Is a Hurtin’ Thing" and "Natural Man."

Well, since he is getting KICKED OUT of his “rental”, he is gonna need some money right?
I agree, the biopics keep coming. I believe and I’m sure about this, the family of these dead singers/actors are short on cash, so they sell the rights to their “life” story. That’s the only way as many of these movies are being made. This will not/should not be a full-fledge theatrical, but a cable presentation, because Lou Rawls had a less than controversial life. Really…now…was he an alcoholic, a wife beater? a gambler? And if he was, who cares.
Good!! Maybe now he can pay his rent.
