I was listening to the Summer Breeze CD and reminising. Seals and Crofts were iconic for me in the 70′s. I was looking for some song books on line and saw the news about Dan. I loved his stuuf too and especially Love is the Answer, All that Glitters and You move me.. And just about anything he or his brother wanted to sing I got to see them play together in Biloxi several years ago and loved it. I am so sad to find this news. I had no idea that Dan was ill. Mythoughts and prayers go out to his family in this time ofloss and sadness. I am one that believes things happen for areason and I can’t help but believe that my listening to the Summer Breeze CD was meant to lead me to this news about Dan. The world is surely a better place for Dan being part of it. I wonder if Jim’s “Wayland the Rabbit” had any correlation to Dan? I probably read it somewhere years ago and forgot.I am thankful to have this news sooner than later but sad.

I have recently become a fan of Dan’s music. He certainly was a great songwriter and knew how to write memorable songs. I am buying a LP player tomorrow and start my collection of his releases. Thanks, Dan, for your many talents. God bless. –James, Minnesota
